Thick rails begin to mellow out towards the tail of the board & with a thruster fin set up for shortboard-like turns and maneuverability.

M*A*T stuck his feet to a surfboard for the first time in 1993, and much like most first time surfers he has been consumed by the sport of surfing ever since. MATÂ surfs competitively in Masters comp at National level. Supplies boards to high level National title contenders in many age groups from junior grom to senior masters. International QS competitors use M*A*T boards.
M*A*T has ridden a wide variety of surfboard types, looking for the right board/wave set-up combinations. This search sparked his intrigue to pursue the shaping process’s sciences further. Something that led to the creation of not only the best boards for himself, but for the entire South Africa surf community and now NZ has the opportunity to enjoy top quality hand finished performance boards!
